Este livro vinha recomendado por algumas pessoas, que tinham gostado imenso, mas a verdade é que, quando lhe peguei, não sabia o que esperar.

Afinal trata-se de uma história de mistério, começa com um assassinato e continua com toda a intriga que se desenrola a partir daí.

As personagens, quer as principais, quer as secundárias estão, na minha opinião, bem construídas e tornaram-se bastante reais na minha mente.

Tem sexo. Bastante. Escaldante. Muitíssimo bem escrito. O que não é tarefa fácil, porque normalmente as cenas de sexo nos livros tendem a cair ou na vulgaridade ou no ridículo.

Não dou 5 estrelas porque só o faço com livros muito, muito especiais.

Mas daria 4,5 se fosse possível.

The Iron Duke is fantastic! It's a fun, engaging, and delightful book to read. I have never really loved the steampunk genre until I read this book. Thank goodness I have Heart of Steel to read right after this. I can't get enough of steampunk now.
