I NEED MORE OF THESE BOOKS IN MY LIFE.

This took me much longer than I care to admit to finish (because *cough* college) but it was SO MUCH FUN. The characters felt really fleshed out for a middle-grade book, the dialogue was 1000% hilarious, and the world was a creative wonderland of adventure. ALL THE YES. The ending felt a little confusing, so I docked off half a star for that. BUT IT'S STILL PURE AMAZINGNESS. Go read this book if you like fun middle-grade novels with magic and dragons. ;)

I was going to write a full review but I'll just leave you with this. 

"Blowing up a volcano using dragon eggs and a balloon is actually quite sane by our standards."
