The Lion's Lady
Reviews

This was such an interesting plot and romance. Christina was raised by Dakota Indians and is such an intriguing character. I loved her bold interactions with Lyon, and their intense romance. I would have loved more character development though for secondary characters, and even for the main characters. I also wish there would have been a moment when Lyon would have been able to see how strong and cutthroat Christina could be. He kept thinking her to be fragile and in need of protection and I would have loved for her to show him otherwise. I also disliked how anticlimactic the ending was. I wanted this book to be more vicious, it seemed inconsistent. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the book. I'm sure it's not the most accurate or sensitive given the time in which it was written, but I didn't find it overtly offensive. I would pick up more from this author, and recommend this book to others.
