Definitely one of my favourite Daniel Silva books, the suspense was kept high throughout the story. It really takes Gabriel the near destruction of a fresh new operative for him to learn that he can't lose Chiara. A bit preachy, but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of the story.

More fun, quite a tense one and a very abrupt, too abrupt, climax that wrapped things up with almost too near a bow.
