LANA MYERS MY WIFE

This book was so messed up — but damn if it didn’t have a chokehold on me for two days straight. I was desperately invested in seeing how this ended. Dear god, it was heavy though. Check those triggers!

Definitely crazy. Adventurous. A little unbelievable but that's the good thing about fiction. Perfect romance thriller.

What do I even say about this book. Took me 4 days to read I could not put it down! Everything about it is amazing. It is incredibly well-written. The mindfc*k series is definitely my fav book now!

drop everything ur doing and read this series. it's soo good I have absolutely no words to say it without spoiling it😭. lana deserves the entire world for what she went and her brother went thru at and omg I can't believe how she even healed after what happened to her. the covers are so misleading tho💀 there's barely any explicit scene which is do good cuz all focus is poured into the plot.

Going into this book during my criminal minds phase was one of the best decisions I could've made. Everything about this book; the characters, the setting, the mannerisms can be linked to that of criminal minds. This is in no way a bad thing and was likely unintentional on the authors part, but nevertheless it made the whole experience so much better. The characters were addictive and I absolutely fell in love with Lana the minute I met her. Logan and Lana's story was heartbreaking and warming at the same time, and Lana's bond with Jake was unforgettable. I liked how spice was dialled down in order for the plot to be significant and meaningful and the character arc of Logan and also Hadley was exceptional.

I WAS OBSESSED!!! Great storyline...Great execution. It was ScRuMpTiOuS🤭🤭❤❤❤ although the end could've been more thrilling...like cliff hanger mabye?
And omw rip to the author 😔🕊

I put off reading this for ages and now that I finally have, hands down one of the best series i’ve ever read. it is such a captivating story I literally could not put it down. kinda speechless. words cannot do this book justice <3

Oh my gosh. 👏amazing👏
There isn't a lot of books where the serial killer falls for the FBI agent, with the serial killer being a female and has a good plot; this book delivers everything that I never knew I needed. Hands down, def one of my favorite series of all time.

10⭐️ Incredible. Hands down, one of my favorite series of all time. Loved every second of it. RIP S.T. Abby

Loved this series!

So this is series was actually so good! Definitely not for everyone but I thought it was going to be some spicy trash, ended up not being that at all. As an artist, I can't go without mentioning how atrocious these book covers are, I would love this series to have some covers that do it justice! I was really sad to find out the author of this series has sadly passed away, I was looking forward to read more from them.

There’s something about feminine rage that just ✨
I do feel like the ending was a bit to theatrical but mehn, I loved this series so much. I will not be deducting points because this book was art 🖼
Got me out of a writing slump, triggered me, related to me 👩🍳💋

AMAZING!!! Hands down my favorite read of the year!!!

This is definitely the best book I've ever read. It was written beautifully and it kept me on my toes throughout the whole series. I couldn't stop reading it. Book 4 was the best in this series in my humble opinion. The way they showed what Lana had to go through was heartbreaking but also eye opening to how messed up some people really are. She went through so much and yet she still found a way to keep her sanity and not get detached from reality the way most people would have. I loved how Lana was portrayed in this series. She wasn't just a weak victim who gave up on fighting. She fought to serve her family justice and it was both beautiful and heartbreaking when you find out what she went through all those years ago. I recommend this book so much, but if you are going to read it please check trigger warnings because it can very easily mess with your mind.<3

this book made me feel the same way I do when watching criminal minds. I loved it so much!!! Gotta love a badass woman seeking revenge

This series was so intense and so so good. I could not stop reading.

love me some female rage.

WHAT THE F*CK Never have I been pulled into a story so quickly. On one hand I was kicking myself for not reading this sooner (I’m so sorry for literally judging a book by its cover) and on the other hand, I finished every chapter in anguish, knowing that I’ll never get to read it again for the first time. The characters are powerful, the plot is intense and exciting and the storytelling is beyond words. It’s really hard to leave a review without spoilers but I want someone debating on reading this series to find this review and take my advice: Do. Not. Wait. READ THIS SERIES. But also, seriously check trigger warnings because it is graphic and has lots of sensitive subjects.

Lana Meyers reluctantly begins a relationship with FBI profiler, Logan Bennett. This is a problem for her because she has been slowly killing the men who murdered her brother but not before repeatedly raping and torturing them and leaving them both for dead 10 years ago. It has taken Lana that long to recuperate and plan her revenge with Jake, the love of her brother's life. Logan is good at his job and starts to close in on Lana and Jake, but not before she helps him take down a few other serial killers in the process. I have very mixed feelings about The Mindf*ck Series. It is an extremely compelling and addicting story, but it isn't perfect. Many aspects are over the top and melodramatic, making it difficult to connect with the characters. The on-page description of violence escalates throughout the series to the point of being very disturbing to read. Although it isn't much of a challenge to empathize with Lana's and Jake's plight, the ease with which Lana tortures her targets makes it difficult to be sympathetic. Also, the romance plot between Lana and Logan is fraught with problems as their relationship blooms much too quickly and seems implausible, especially considering how little they know about each other. Overall, however, The Mindf*ck Series is a riveting story that can't really be called fun, but does keep the reader enthralled from beginning to end.

I stayed up two nights in a row to finish this series and i have no regrets!

Besides, no one expects a laughing girl in the breakroom to have recently tortured a guy and dug up dark secrets no one even knew existed.

"Just as silently, I open the drawer, and pull out the gun I have hidden there. Why is there a gun hidden in my bathroom? Have you ever seen a horror film? The girl always gets stabbed in the shower. Or she runs into the bathroom and locks the door, but has no way to defend herself when the psycho killer breaks in."

"It’s sad that I want to hide my bodies now so that my boyfriend gets a break and can spend more time with me."

"I’m the best option for keeping me safe."

Or is it the typical American Psycho?

And in that moment, I'm completely his. There's no revenge; there are no deaths staining my hands. I'm just a girl in love with a man who's destined to hate me when he learns the truth.

"I came as soon as you called," he says, looking at Logan in shock. "How'd you beat me here?" "He drove so fast that my asshole is still clenched. I don't think he tapped the brakes until we got here" Craig tells him dryly.
