Definitely dark, with disturbing subject matter, but something didn't seem to click completely for me. I think even though the main character did monstrous things (we know necrophilia is bad) he did not come across as monstrous. The descriptions of corpses and his relations with them were intimate and tender, as he later says he seems to fall in love with each one. I had become invested in the consequences of his actions and found myself hoping that we would cease his foolish behavior and not get caught. But alas he may have.

Hard to digest, although interesting to know what lies in the minds of necrophiliacs. The starting point of the darkness in the book os both interesting and sick to read.
