OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Probably the best of the series, though that's not saying much. Has a creepy scene at a haunted house. The girls go to cheer camp. No deaths in this one, surprisingly.

Predictable ending but fast paced plot and easy scares. Fun spooky read.

um... Cory was the creepiest character in this book. Not Anna.

Potential SPOILERS ahead.... You've been warned. This was a HOT mess. I picked this up for nostalgic purposes, having loved the OG fear streets back in the day, and it took me forever to finish, coming super close to a DNF multiple times. The prank that sets off the main events of this book doesn't even happen until over 200 pages in. So the first 200 ish pages are terribly paced and not even super interesting while the last 130 or so cram way too much plot in too small of a space. This was just NOT IT.

Good afternoon read The New Girl is a interesting read about a girl who seems too good to be true, too good to be real, but that's just deceptive. The characters are 16, act like a clueless 16 year old who hasn't seen dateline and is heads over heels for girl he hasn't even met yet. But, it's written in a way where it's interesting and holds enough attention to complete the book. The plot twist at the end is hard to see until it's said and then you end up thinking to yourself, "well, that makes sense."

This book was undoubtedly bone-chilling and gripping every time I read it. I was really intrigued by the first chapter with when Beth's dad was killed by Martin Dooley in the most horrible and inhumanly way, and she ran away in her love-hate relationship with Aaron Dooley. Then, we meet the protagonist, Michael, who seems to have a rather nice life before he meets this cute, adorable girl Lizzy. She seems genuine initially, until she seems slightly eccentric and mysterious. Lizzy messes up Michael's life with his girlfriend, Pepper. Sooner than later, Lizzy talks about someone trying to kill his friends after she squeezed herself into Michael's friendship group. However, Michael can't take his eyes off this hot Lizzy for some inexplicable reason, then Michael discovers the most horrible secret! I can't describe how bone-chilling and engrossing this book is!
