I read most of this book during one night of insomnia. It's POSSIBLE that reading the book kept me awake too.

Anybody that reads my reviews know I don't like romance or most love stories. This one was different enough not to trip my "is this a KISSING book???" radar. 

Jenny is a shy, stuttering young woman who has been reared by her aunt and uncle after her parents are killed in a car crash. Through a somewhat unlikely series of events, she ends up married to the Manic Pixie Dream Boy, Russell. It starts as a marriage of convenience, because Jenny has money, and Russell doesn't. But, of course, you know how things like THAT usually turn out.

It doesn't help that Jenny's aunt & uncle, who supposedly have Jenny's best interests at heart, may not be quite as sincere as Jenny thinks.

And there's a magic horse that only Jenny can see.

I'd read a couple of Jodi Taylor's Chronicles of St. Mary's books, and found them ok, but nothing special. I confess I was pretty much charmed by this whole book. It was sweet. I didn't figure out everything that was going on before the end. I was rooting for the heroine, and the hero wasn't too bad either.

A sweet, quick read if you ever need a unicorn chaser, or just a little pick me up.
