3.85⭐ For the first half, i was like "meh, okay". Some plot twists i didn't see coming, but still it didn't get me invested enough to hold onto it tight. Half of that feeling has to do wid the fact that i wasn't really thrilled or excited about the novel, so i wasn't expecting much. 
But that's when the book threw me off in the second half. Instead of seeing the first half 'not fast paced enough', i saw it as 'building the tension & plot for what was coming'. Cause boy, the plot twists kept coming & coming , it was taking a different turn every page. Like, i was shocked when i was proven wrong about the "then" titled chapters. It wasn't from the pov of the character i thought it was. It just got better & better and accelerated to the point that I had no idea what was happening but i was totally intrigued. It wasn't like one big plot twist. It was several plot twists woven together to keep u on your toes. Lies & lies & backstories that don't add up until the end. I really enjoyed the second half. This book was a lesson to me & am going to go on a hunt for all not so famous thrillers. One underrated work this is. My only problem was the writing, somehow I felt it could've been better worded as the plot was amazing, and if the writing was a little bit more gripping and suspenseful, then this book would've been a total banger. Also the last part could be seen a little messy. Anyway I really recommend this one.
