Fantastical stories, well-written. I liked the ones with elves least. There are stories with same-sex couples that work really well. The story of the young man trying to rescue his love from the queen of the fairies was particularly effective. 

Good work. I think I'll look for more of her writing.

Love, love, love Holly Black’s work. Interesting to read it in a shorter format, with the inclusion of Coldtown and the faerie universe!

Not exactly what I was expecting from a Holly Black novel, but then again I've only read two. Listened to the audio book of this one and I enjoyed the narration. Definitely made me more of a Black fan and can't wait to pick up another novel by Holly!
