I loved this book so much! It was so full of adventure and craziness with twists and turns I didn't see coming.

This was a cute and funny middle grade polar fantasy about a group of four explorers being separated from the main group and their adventures around the Iceland. The characters were quite lovely and their backstories were deep and did not shy away from the more darker themes of grief and loss.
This tale was filled with many different creatures that I liked reading about, and I want to know what other creatures Bell will come up with next.
What I didn't like about the book was that Stella, at times, read a little young. Closer to 7 or 8 instead of 12, but I guess that can happen with middle grade books. I also don't know how I feel about the ending. It was sweet and set up for the next book, but there were dark elements to it that were in stark contrast to the rest of the story.

A good adventurous and winter read! I felt tho that it wanted to have so many things in the book that we didn't spend much time with each of those things. It was quite magical so I just wanted more. So I am excited for the next one!

This was really cute. I loved the characters as well as the storyline. It was well paced and well developed and I cannot wait for the next one. It is an easy read being middle grade but I still got a lot of pleasure from reading it. Recommend for anybody who wants a fun, polar adventure story.
