This is a 3.5 for me.
All really well considered arguments on what it means to live a kind life, and the benefits to yourself and others. I took plenty of notes when things were phrased well, and Ferrucci certainly articulates a lot of important ideas in a clear manner (or he does, and so does the translator).

While there isn't a lot of startlingly new material here, I enjoyed this considered and passionate argument for living life imbued with the values that I've always cherished and attempted to develop in myself. I truly feel as though this should be compulsory reading for all school leavers, so that they can go into their adult life with an idea of a different framework for day to day expectations.
