2.5 stars | I'm pretty disappointed I didn't like this book more. The writing wasn't that great; there were over-descriptions of things that didn't need any, the dialogue was awkward and the characters didn't feel like real people. I was also disappointed by the lack of the book club! Basically the only reason I wanted to read this was because of the book club, but it was more surrounding Amy-Faye's event planning business (and a group of too many people to keep track of). The mystery was kinda meh. I don't think I'll read the next one.

Things I loved about this book:

1) The cover: It screams "pick me up, curl up and read me"
2) The fact that the victim is named Ivy Donner (Donner is my maiden name!)
3) The mixed bag of women that make up the Readaholics Book Club
4) I could not put it down!
5) I was wrong about the ending.

The main character Amy-Faye was likable, the book itself was fast paced and I loved the overall small town feel of this mystery. I will definitely be continuing this series! I can't wait to find out who Amy-Faye ends up with....
