they were honestly cute but i felt that there were parts that are too shallow.

This book was the perfect introduction to the series. It’s an easy story to read and it got me hooked from the beginning. Besides, Holt and Eden were amazing, I loved their interactions and how after 6 years their chemistry was still there. Holt was wonderful, despite having a difficult past he was really charming and sweet. He always felt attracted to Eden but after she left the night they spent together in college he really thought he wasn’t good enough for her. Eden’s grandfather left her a hockey team and thanks to some threats she needs some security in order to protect her. When she realizes it’s Holt she starts remembering their night together and how wrong she was by choosing her ex instead of him. At first they try to leave the past behind but their attraction was really strong and so after some moments together Holt charms her again. They had some cute scenes together and their steamy scenes were really good too. I loved each time they were together and how they found each other again. Now I can’t wait to read more of the players and see how they settle down.
