I fucking hate you tedros for being so relatable. You're the person I hated the most during the 1st book. Then 4th comes in, magically switching my view towards you. I hate how this specific scene depicted men being bad at handling problems, such as running away when things are crumbling down in front of them; being too dependent on someone to the point you can't stop thinking about them. Wtf, I deeply despise you so much Tedros but you're going to one of my favorites rn😭😭😭

He didn't want to talk to them. He didn't care if they thought he was wounded or dead He wanted it to be like school, where he could lock himself in a dorm room or bathroom to be alone and if he missed class, he'd be punished with detention or kitchen duties, neither with any real consequence.

I never thought I have to say this, but don't get a man when you're cursed for not falling in love. Girl... I know you're lonely but having power is much better than loving someone else in this story. But, again, you've been lonely for so many years and everywhere around you was evolving while your lake still stood dry, so what better way than to get sum1 dead right in front of your eyes. I really loved u during 3rd book, but dang, I never knew you'd be adding fuel to the fire towards these kids who are trying to graduate...😭 Luv u woman of the lake, just take care of Chaddick very well.

Chaddick could've had more screentime or readtime in this book (and I would've loved and eat it every second bcs Chaddick has been nothing but a sidekick for Tedros). His name already appeared and I thought he'd be an ongoing point of view for books 4 to 6. Seriously, I was so excited that I was so invested for his story, like what'll be his fate as the friend of a king--much like arthur's and lancelot's reign. He could've been a great piece of character to the story if he didn't die, but oh well. He was the start of the actual story🥲 BY QUESTING ON HIS DEAD BODY GIRUDJWJALAKJD FJDNAJS. FUCK U CHINANI
