I liked the cooking and recipes part but the different characters' stories not so much. It was quite a boring book for me.

The class is taught by Lillian, who also has a restaurant by the same name. Each session she meets new students, some come alone, some come as a couple and together they learn how to make meals and enjoy the food they are eating. .

Each chapter is focused on a different student and we get a glimpse into each of their lives. While I am not one for short stories, I do find myself loving novels with several intertwined characters each with their own chapter. .

This book is delightful and simple. There is no explosive climax or intense drama. This novel is best enjoyed with a plate of pasta that you enjoy slowly, savouring each bite. .
