Sorry, I couldn’t continue with this book. I loved Nix but Elle annoyed the absolute snot out of me.
She is hypocritical, annoying, and an outright bitch. She never appreciated what Nix was trying to do, or even gave an ounce of sympathy even when she knew what he was trying to do.
I think this could’ve been negated by a better explanation of her circumstances at the beginning of the book, to garner some sort of sympathy for her the way it was garnered for Nix.
But it wasn’t and her constant martyr complex grated. Sorry, but I couldn’t get past that.

Oh my god!!!! Ahhhhh I loved this book. Enemies to lovers quite literally the girl next door trope hello.
I loved this book as much as the first one. It’s so well written the dual POVs yes my favourite thing in these books. Nix and Elle are again perfect for each other, I love how maturely they resolved their arguments as well I say well done to Maya Hughes for writing that because it was a nice change to read about 10/10 recommend.
Again highly recommend if you love off campus and enemies to lovers sports romance. 5 stars!

I think Berk and Jules’ book will be my favourite but when I tell you I screamed at the ending of this one well it’s definitely set the tone hasn’t it now hehe

I’m really enjoying this series! I didn’t love this couple as much as Reece and Seph, but I still enjoyed the book. It was a cute enemies to lovers/neighbours romance. 

I really love the friendships in this series and this book didn’t disappoint on that front, there were lots of sweet and funny scenes. 

I loved Nix, he’s so sweet and definitely book boyfriend material. I really loved that he finally stood up for himself at the end and followed his passion. I both loved and hated Elle’s characters. I really liked her, she was funny and a great friend to Jules. But she did annoy me a little at times. She was so hot and cold with Nix and it felt like she was just waiting for him to mess up so she could use it as an excuse to break up with him…but I’m happy they got their HEA at the end.

I’m excited to continue the series and read Jules and Berk’s story!

This book is good but of the Three I’ve read it’s my least favorite and in this reread I almost skipped it but I wanted to see all the LJ and Marissa and Berk and Jules breadcrumbs and too see the beginnings of them 👀

Not to say that I don’t Elle and Nix because I do! 
Like the nerf fights and a bunch of the other scenes are just so cute! I just don’t vibe with them as much as the other characters!

oh dear this book was amazing
I am in a really rough situation but this series is helping me so much 
I loved Nix and Elle relationship and it actually made me rethink some stuff in my life 👀 
Can’t wait to start the next one soon!!

The Second We Met is an enemy to lovers story that got me hooked from the very start. 



I absolutely loved this book. It didn't take me long to read this one because I just couldn't put it down. I love the chemistry between Nix and Elle was fantastic.



The Second We Met is book 2 in Fulton U series but it can be read as a stand-alone. 



I am giving this 5 out of 5.
