I love Meghan Quinn. I like this story's premise. And I like Bram. He is sweet and swoon worthy. Julia, on the other hand, I don't like. 

I want to like her, I do. She's intelligent, hardworking, and independent. But she's insecure, and because of her insecurities, she tends to be hesitant and sceptical when it comes to her relationship with Bram. 

Don't get me wrong, I understand where her timidness and apprehension comes from. Bram was one of the most popular guys in college. He was the president of the biggest fraternity in campus. Whereas, she, was a frumpy nerd, and his best friend's little sister. I get it, okay? But man, her insecurity and foolishness were just too unbearable to read toward the end.

She is convinced that she and Bram are incompatible because of what her hypothesis, charts, data, and whatnot are telling her. I understand she takes her What's Your Color theory seriously. After all, she's studied it for years and makes a career out of it. But please, the man has been wearing his heart on his sleeve and has been nothing but a sweet, thoughtful, and passionate lover to her. Yeah, she's an idiot. Of course, in the end she realizes her mistake, but I just can't relate and warm up to her. So yeah, 3 ⭐.

I found this story to be so much fun! I wouldn't say its my favorite Meghan Quinn at all, but I would say it was entertaining especially in the second half once these two actually got together. And it had a outcome with the brother (I LEAST EXPECTED haha) Meghan Quinn definitely threw me for a surprise on that one.

My primary issue that I had with this book was the flashbacks in the first half of the book, I really had no interest in them. The way this story was written, I just wanted to put it down because they were "meh" and just didn't appeal to me. I am highly picky about flashbacks and honestly I don't feel like they were needed, or if they were implemented it could have just been a couple of beginning chapters to get the important background between the couple. I just didn't feel the need to care. And I found the heroine a bit frustrating in the first half. I didn't really see why she was so anti the hero. Like he was so devoted to her, but she was fighting him so much even though you can see she feels the connection. She was just a bit flakey and the hero deserved a heroine willing to fight for him as much as he was willing to fight for her. My other issue was the conflict in the third act, with how the heroine was with the hero. She should have done a bigger grovel, the hero deserved better.

Now there were quite a few aspects that I did enjoy in this one. I loved the hero pining so much after the heroine. The friendship between the three friends was pretty amazing, I love seeing male friendships and its done so well in this one especially the friendship between the hero and the heroine's brother and when it all comes out, I just SWOONED the way that they stood by each other. It was pretty awesome. The romance itself was super swoony. It had me in my emotions so deeply. And I do feel like if you are looking for lots of feels, this is a story that you need to pick up.

Overall I found this one to be a charming, laugh out loud, unrequited love romance that leaves you with plenty of swoons!

The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister was the perfect book to start off the year with! I have read multiple books by Meghan Quinn and I think this one if my favorite! It's everything I love in a romance!

This story is told through both Bram and Julia's POV! I love that romance books do this, because it makes the story more complete. Bram is seems like such an arrogant guy, but there is so much more to him than that. It's like he wants everyone to think he's macho, but in the end he's very protective and caring! Julia is a hardworking woman who has worked hard to get her dating business set up! Even though she's better at matching others than herself. Julia doesn't seem to realize she deserves more than she thinks she does!

I loved that these two characters have known each other for awhile. It's clear in every way they interact with each other. There's definitely some history and the chapters from the past made this book so much fun! Bram is a book boyfriend that will be hard to beat this year!

The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister is filled with humor, romance, sexiness and swoon moments that leave a smile on your face while you're reading! A lot of men could definitely learn something from the way Bram treats Julia! On top of that this book isn't really filled with that much angst, that was really nice for a change!

I can't wait to see what this author writes for us next!

I never knew these books came before Bossman Bridegroom, so I already knew their story, but omg, Bram is the best, he’s so dreamy, I loved his sense of humor and everything he did to win Julia’s love.

And I’ll keep saying that his bromance with Rath is amazing, specially when Rath felt more overprotective over him than his own sister, I loved their interactions.

Now I can’t wait to read Roark’s story...

I'm an unapologetic Meghan Quinn fangirl. I'm not even going to lie about that. Her books are the total rom com package for me. Her latest, The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister is no exception. It was a delightfully fun and sexy read with a slow burn friends first/best friend's sister book. I laughed, swooned and fell in love with the characters. Bram, especially.

If I'm being totally honest, The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend's Sister got off to a little bit of a slow start for me. Of course, I'm a mood reader and it might've been more of a case of "it's not you, it's me." Even though it did take a little bit of time for the story to hit its stride, it didn't stop me from enjoying it. I do love a good slow burn and Bram and Julia's romanced delivered just that. I thought this book had a cute set up — the competitive former manwhore throwing a bet to give him an opportunity for a second chance with his best friend's sister. The sister he crushed on for years. Did I mention the sister in question owns a dating service? Naturally, hilarity ensues. 

This book was fun and fairly light, with just enough angst to make it realistic. I lost track of the number of times I laughed out loud. Though the reformed manwhore isn't always my favorite hero, I loved how Bram was all in for Julia. Even when she was having second thoughts. There were some great secondary characters in this story and I hope some of the friends get books of their own, too. I'm totally here for it.
