Okay, I love wolves but damn these vampire Guardians are hot. I am really enjoyed the next installment in the series. Half of me was afraid that it would drag on, but I really didn’t feel like that at all.

Violet woke up 6 years ago, but unlike the other Well Blessed Humans, she did not have anyone to navigate the world with. Then Violet finds her self captured by vampires who are using her as her personal blood bag. Luckily she is able to escape and save to other girls. They realize that they’re all from the past and were key players for the end of the world. They make a difficult decision to split up and each girl went their separate ways.

Violet hates vampires after her first encounter and spends most of her six years a week killing them. Until a certain vampire comes and insert himself into her life. Enter indigo. Indigo is exactly how I love my vampires to be; sexy, witty, and protective. Violet and Indigo quickly realize that they are mates, but Violet has spent the majority of her new life hating vamps. She now has to reevaluate everything she think she knows about vampires and juggle her new powers. 

This book is very addicting, I’m warning you now. I just love the chemistry between the two. Admittedly, I did not always enjoy Violet’s character but I did like her overall. I am really excited for the next couple in the series. We get a glimpse of them in this book but I can already tell their stories going to be very intense.

Cannot wait for the next book!
