An amazing read! This book was so easy to follow, understand, and read that I could thoroughly comprehend what was going on and learned a really cool part of history. I didn’t feel like I was reading a monotoned history novel but rather a truly intriguing book. I will have to read more by this author! I recommend to any history lover looking for something with excitement and adventure.

           It's a great story, but the level of detail is excessive and close to unbelievable. 

Imagine: you're writing a report about the most dangerous operation you've been a part of — it took years of preparation and executing it was a really really intense week. You recall the crucial day of the op, when you're smuggling one of the most important people in the world out of the lion's den, in a car chase with the KGB. You'd fail, your whole family would be dead. And the thing that saved you that day is the fact that your three month old son has to have his nappies changed. Cool.

Now, do you think you'd remember what song was playing on the radio? And how Mark Knopfler's lyrics were miraculously an allegory of your current situation?
