This book was an easy read, and made me think about all the setbacks I have in my life, and how I can try to live as a stoic, and not let them overwhelm me, and actually go along with it.

Before reading this book I knew very little about stoicism, and I can imagine this philosofy being very transformative and life changing.

I loved how this book was written in a very practical way, and each chapter resonated very loudly as I felt they were speaking to me directly. If you’re ever wondering whether you’re complaining too much about life, or if in fact there are things that you feel could be lightly tweaked in your life with the expectation of increasing your happiness, you should read this book.

A superficial approach is stoicism, but possibly enough? I had hoped for more, however.
