My first read for the August for the women in translation month. A but weird but mostly funny and easy to read. The book is separated into a several forms of geometric properties such as The Hyperbolics,The parabolics, The circulars...etc. which I know sound too mathematical for a book but it all makes sense in terms of the human nature of the protagonist. Like the hyperbole he exaggerates his talks and create stories to auction his collectables. He considers himself the word's best auctioneer because he can sell anything including his teeth. His ability is storytelling. It was a fun read. Highly enjoyable!
