A chilling mystery thriller This was a very creepy and thrilling mystery that followed a very brave journalist, Joan, who is uncovering the details for a story that uncovers a famous sexual predator. The wife of the sexual predator goes on a mission to prove that Joan is writing lies. Other people also try and stop Joan from writing the highly anticipated book all about the women who be attacked and end ip attacking her in her apartment. She ends up moving to an apartment building with better security to safely write her book but the history of the building distracts her. I found this story very so twisting and colorful as we move between old and new New York discovering the stories hidden until Joan gets there. I really enjoyed all the strong women that the author untwined together and especially loved the ending.
