A great book of baseball in the 60s. It's a series of essays focused around each season's final months and World Series games. Loved the pieces about the early days of the Astrodome, the Mets in their '69 season, the '68 "year of the pitcher", and the early years of what became the "Big Red Machine" of the 70s. Highly recommended for the baseball fans out there.
