The content of this book can NOT be missed. It is a must-read unless you desire to be a slave to your money for the entirety of your life. The 4 instead of 5 stars come from the fact that I don't always prefer Dave's writing/ preachy style.

Great book, maybe too many references to the bible.

I loved this book! I listened to the audio book version and it really got me pumped up to make changes to my finances.

A little verbose and tailored to the American population; however, there are great principles and a plan for financial security.

This was the second time that I have read this book. I first read it right at the beginning of my journey to Financial Peace, before I had even had my emergency fund in place. Now that I have gotten really serious about eliminating my debt and buying a home, I thought that it would be a great idea to reread the book. What makes this book so effective and successful is that it lays out a pretty simple plan for getting yourself started on the road to financial freedom. The steps are doable. That doesn't mean that the steps are easy. Self-control is a hard thing to develop, but if you work to intentionally plan your budget and stick to it, you will find yourself making progress.

Good book about financial and the fundamentals about financial. But for some one who doesn't live in USA it can feel a bit off where many things, tips and traps comes from the America lifestyle and society.
