Pretty good start to a series I had no hopes for. As everyone knows, aquaman is always the butt of all the jokes when it comes to superheros. I liked how it was actually addressed throughout the comic. It gave a bit of self awareness, but it was also a bit meta in which both Geoff Johns and Aquaman himself want to prove those haters wrong. And he managed to pull it off, this comic starts well, no bullshit fillers. It just got straight to the point which is what I like. Hopefully the next few volumes keep up this trend.
