I really enjoyed this final instalment, I loved the characters and their development over the series.

This was a really good sequel. I liked the issues it dealt with too and there was one thing which happened that I truly wasn't expecting and made me so sad. I love Boy so much and was so worried about him for most of this book. Violet got on my nerves a bit I have to admit but once she got interacting with more of the other 'orphans' she mellowed a bit. I have to say the adults in this book are incredibly dumb sometimes which is truly frustrating but it's kind of addressed a little. 

Overall a great read and I am looking forward to the last one.

The Battle with Perfect

This was a good end for this middle grade trilogy and while the kids inability to piece things together as quickly as I do is still kind of annoying I do make allowances for it since it is aimed at young children. Boy and Jack are still my faves, I love all of the kids from No Mans Land and appreciate the grown ups acknowledging that they are once again relying on children to save them and their town. The plot was a little out there in this last installment but enjoyable nonetheless and I am going to miss these characters.
