It’s a series of lectures given by Sagan in the 80’s, the transcripts lost for like 20 years, and then found and edited by his partner (biz and wife!). 

I loved this book. I love how clearly Sagan shares his views on religion through a scientific lens! But makes it easy to understand for non scientists. I even really enjoyed the fact that it’s quite old (like how much technology has developed and how much space exploration has happened since). It made me want to write a research paper. An inclination I have not had since college lol
