Ah, a meeting with perfection! I really felt like I was there going through the experiment. It helped me understand history and human nature. the ending speech could have been written better ...but point taken! It's amazing what an impact such a short book can make.

           It is definitely a scary thought that this is based on true events that happened in a place of education, however, this gives the book a bigger purpose. After reading this book, I realized just how big an impact it can be, because while it is bad that this actually happened, its also a lesson (ironically enough). The fact that this book exists gives those who didn't witness it a chance to know what happened and to ensure that this kind of chain reaction doesn't happen again; wether its an educational institution or any other place where people gather. It also teaches something else. Where the wave eventually existed to cause fear and harm among the people, this type of chain effect can be used in reverse if worked correctly. It begs the question of what if the wave had the same popularity effect, but stood by morals of righteousness and kindness? Would have been a different story wouldn't you say?

I liked this book, it's not really what I normally read, but suprisingly to me I actually enjoyed it. 

We had to read this book for the IB-english course I'm attending at school, first, we actually watched the small telemovie. It scared me, I can't say much more about me. It was freaky to see the students, acting like robots. The book scared me even more. It's not a scary story in which someone is killed, but just the facted that it's based on a real event freaks me out. You start to wonder, would I act the same as these kids? And that's just the beginning, when you really start to think about the book it has so many great messages.

The writing was fast, but not in an irritating way. It was good, except for a few minor things. Also it was very realistic, partly because it's based on reality, but while the book is a little more dramatic than the real thing, it's not too dramatic.

I would say that this was an amazing read, especially because it's not too long.

I guess it was good. But honestly, it had me creeped out, cause it's a true story 😐
