The Whitechapel Fiend

Bit lost in some parts, but I really enjoyed this one, especially because it drew on a bit of history about Jack the Ripper and described alternative conspiracies as to what happened!!

BEST NOVELLA SO FAR!!!! Simon and Jace banter, 1888 Wessa + kids moments. I died and teared up multiple times bc I missed them so much!! Present day Jessa was adorable ANNNNDD spoilers below SpoilerTHE FACT THAT JACE KNOWS ABOUT TESSA BEING HIS GREAT GREAT AND SO ON GRANDMOTHER NOW MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!! He gets to learn more things about his Herondale legacy and have a nice and wonderful living relative. That just makes me so ecstatic

THIS IS THE BEST ONE SO FAR Oh God I love the TID characters so so much. And my sweet Jace was there too. Basically this story was perfect. I can't wait to read TLH BECAUSE MORE JEM TESSA AND WILL

That made me really emotional because WILL HERONDALE. Will being a daddy. Will and Tessa. Will Herondale. "To his children, Will showed the same love he had always shown to her, fierce and unyielding." *crying* Also, bonus points because Jace and Simon cracked me up.

Probably the best one of these so far. Not for the Jack the Ripper history or that time frame at all (because I honestly haven't read the Infernal Devices series yet so it was probably a little more confusing than it would have been if I had) but for the Jace/Simon interactions. Jace and Simon's relationship was one of my favorite parts of the series in the later books. I was glad to see it again. I'm definitely hoping poor Simon either gets parts or his memory back that help him accept his friends in the future or he learns to accept himself as both the hero and the Mundane. Maybe if he becomes a Shadowhunter he will regain his memory with his change or something. Either way, I was glad to see Jace/Simon, glad George is still around and pretty funny actually. I am definitely enjoying these Novellas.

I loved seeing Will, Tessa and Jem again and seeing Jace and Simon interact! It was fast pace read and much read the new one soon!

WOW No hay otra palabra que explique todo lo que senti al leer este libro/historia. Mis mas sinceras felicitaciones a Cassandra por esta maravilla oportunidad de conocer mejor a algunos personajes de este hermoso mundo que me ha atrapado por tanto tiempo. Primero que todo debo decir que aunque me demore mucho en leerlo (y esto suena chistoso pero creanme que ultimamente no he podido leer mucho por culpa de la universidad) ha sido una historia hermosa y divertida. Conocer un poco de este nuevo "Simon" es interesante porque aunque ha olvidado todo, no ha olvidado quien es él en esencia y es por esto que amo tanto a este personaje. Ahora bien, la historia me ha dejado con los pelos de punta y ahora es cuando pongo una alabanza a Cassandra: QUE MANERA DE ESCRIBIR. Jamas pensé que una historia como la de este personaje fuera a tener un lugar en el mundo de los cazadores de sombras pero debo decirlo, estuvo excelente. Algo que me encanto del libro fue que incorporara a Will y Tessa y a toda la familia en la historia. Extrañaba como no se pueden imaginar, el leer algo sobre estos personajes, y saber como la amistad de Will y Jem aun sigue siendo tan fuerte como siempre me llena de alegria. Tambien es muy lindo conocer que fue de la vida de ellos despues de los libros de TID y sobretodo recordar esos tiempos en los que leia y leia sin parar sobre ellos. Finalmente no me deja mas que decir que estos cuentos cortos son mi proyecto de vacaciones (las cuales ya estan por terminar) pero espero traerles asi sea dos reviews por dia sobre mi opinion de cada historia corta (que debo decir me gustan cada vez mas)

(hide spoiler)] - the parts when we go back to London 1888 (view spoiler)[Will and Tessa , Gabriel and Cecily as parents and Jessie was there too <\3 (hide spoiler)] OH THE FEELS !!! i loved it ,i think this is my favorite so far in TFSA the only thing that bothered me was that Lucie is alreday born in that time _year 1888_ which is weird because in the Herondale family tree that we see in clockwork princess dust-jacket that Lucie was born in 1891 not 1888, i know it's nothing and mistakes happen but still they could manage without her being born in that time,and they could bring Christopher Lightwood instead he's born in 1887 after all he should be there ! i mean we still have ' Nothing but shadows ' to see a lot of Lucie , why the rush right ? :P

Me encantó <3 El sólo hecho de salir Will, Tessa y Jem lo hizo perfecto. Lo otro que me gustó fue la carta de Simon para Izzy, lo único que quiero es que vuelvan a estar juntos porque amaba como eran ellos dos juntos. Lo último de la carta me mato y me da esperanza de que quizás en algun momento volveran a estar juntos... "No sé por qué tú esperarías por mí, pero si lo haces, te prometo hacerme digno de esperar. O lo intentaré. Puedo prometer que voy a intentar." <3 <3

Recensione su Giulia's World Ho ancora gli occhi a cuoricino, non so come verrà fuori questa pseudo recensione! E' stato strano rivedere Will, insomma tutti sappiamo cosa succede quindi quando ti vengono dette delle cose che lo riguardano... non so, mi sembra sempre strano. Comunque è stato fantastico avere una storia in cui Will, Tessa e Jem fossero ancora insieme *-*. Il finale è la cosa più dolce che ci sia, oh Simon finalmente hai fatto una cosa giusta, sono tanto fiera di te *-*. Eh vabbe, Jace mi ha fatto letteralmente morire dalle risate, ma davvero non sei credibile sappiamo tutti perchè sei lì :p Ma se io volessi la prossima tipo ora? xD
