Some random thoughts:

I had some ups and downs while going through this book. One minute I was enjoying it, the next I was hating it. Trick was pretty interesting at first, but then he kind of mellowed out for me. The same thing happened with Cami, but she became quite the idiot at the end of the book.

Their love formed a bit too abruptly for my liking. They lust over each other for sure, but we never really see them falling in love. They don't talk and develop a real, strong relationship. I didn't see a real connection between them, and when they started declaring their love for each other, I was like, "Err... where exactly did that come from?"

There's all this sexual tension between Cami and Trick, and they get hot and heavy teasing each other, everything's all sensual, but when they finally got to the sex, the book just skims over it. Tbh, I was very disappointed with that. I love when books get down and dirty and sexy! I was surprised though, since in M. Leighton's Madly series, it actually goes more in depth with the sex than this book, and that series is YA!

Despite all this, I didn't hate the book. It's more of a 'whatever' book for me.

Some good things though, were the horse plot and the angsty bit at the end. I've rarely, if ever, read a book that had to do with horses or horse racing or any of that stuff, so it was refreshing to read. And, angst is always a plus for me. Don't know why, but I just love angsty books.

P.S. I highly recommend
