           vivo por el trope de la esposa muerta, pero acá me decepcionó un poco.

me enganché muy mal con este libro, pensé que sería como una joya de historia, libro, etc; pero en realidad entre más se acercaba el final, todo se fue volviendo muy “meh”

primero porque caí en cuenta de que la relación entre nic y ethan fue muy instalove, y odiaba el trato (o las actitudes) que tenía ethan con ella. Y más porque no sentí que fuera por “estar de luto”, sino porque tenía ganas de ser imbécil y ya. ¿Cuándo le dijo que era un polvo fácil? dios, lo quise matar.

el asunto de la hermana? honestamente quería lanzar el libro por la ventana. Verónica no pudo ser más sangre fría con su hermana… no sé cómo Nic podía siquiera pensar en el bienestar de su hermana o mantener algún tipo de relación con ella a pesar de todo, me valió que fuera el único pariente que le quedara. Como si no fuera suficiente quitarle el prometido y embarazarse de este, va y le dice miles de cosas hirientes, la manda a la mierda y le pide “tiempo” para arreglar las cosas con Marcus, ya que ninguno está preparado para que Nic vuelva a sus vidas. ¿Para qué? Para que después la hermana se diera cuenta que Marcus no era lo que pensó, y fuera corriendo con Nic para que arreglara su desastre, y de paso joderle la vida que estaba empezando en el proceso.

Voy a confesar que ya para el final me daba igual el romance y estaba más pendiente de la relación ultra tóxica de las hermanas que quedó en mUY buenos términos para todo lo que sucedió a lo largo del libro.

Overall Opinion:
When I initially picked up this book, I had expected some cheesy erotica series filled with bad writing, instant love, unnecessary family drama and annoying characters yet I was surprised it only fell in the instant love category. (Come on! Three weeks to fall in love?! I think not!) Lexi Ryan was able to draw me in with her well executed writing style and the realistic characters who dealt with betrayal, heartbreak, depression and suicide. Many other factors that were contributed made this a excellent read and I was pleasantly surprised the author was able to easily factor them all into the story without ruining the premise nor flow of what was happening. Hands down a must read from Lexi Ryan. I look forward to reading the remaining books of the series and getting the oh-so-steamy doses of the Jackson brothers (and let's hope Shay down the line)!

One of the best things I adorwd About this book was how the author showed the value of family and how they can influence our lives and change it to the better or even some times turn it to hell.
And how love is so important whatever it is if it's friendship or any other relationship.
The book also talked about depression and the author has greatly mentioned that it's not the end of our life.. and that suicide was never an escape from our real problems..
On the contrary.. it can hurt so many people around you who really care about you and love and cherish you forever.
I really loved the heroin Nicole.. she was so sweet and always took care of whom she loved.
She was the complete opposite of her twin sister who was so selfish and who betrayed and hurt her identical sister in so many bad ways.
But in the end she finally tried to fix a lot.. and she actually quite succeeded..
The hero also was awesome and so lovely.. he no longer fought for his life untill Nick.. he decided that the battle wasn't over yet..
The little girl Lily was really marvellous and beautiful she just had her way to my heart even though she's just a fictional character..
Her role in the story was so important and added much goodness to the plot.
I also really injoyed the twists through the whole book.. which had kept me wandering and on edge till the the end.
The writing stile was so good and I'm absolutely definitely gonna read the rest of this spectacular series.

They’re attracted to each other, but after love running her life, Nicole doesn’t want to let it in that easy. Ethan lost his wife and can’t imagine being with someone else, but she’s making it very difficult. There are some secrets, can they get past them? I loved this romance. The idea of her pretending to be someone else, but being more herself than ever. I thought that was amazing. A family full of secrets didn’t help much, but I LOVED this family. I need books about all of them. Lexi Ryan built this romance slow but study and it was worth every minute reading. Ethan had to face his own demons and so did Nicole, but they did that together without even realizing what they were building together. The romantic gesture at the end of the book was so sweet. After I finished the book I had a smile on my face for quite some time. That’s how these books should end.
