The characters are so well rounded and complicated and adorable all at the same time, I absolutely love their dynamic. The plot is well thought out, and the backstories are angsty and tragic. It was beautiful to see the characters grow in their personal lives as well as in their romantic life.

This was a really bittersweet and angsty gay manga that I enjoyed. It was a little more explicit than I personally expected and than I personally prefer. But I liked Kasumi and Kyousuke's relationship and how much pining and self-sacrifice they were willing to put up with from themselves.

I was actually completely blown away by "There Are Things I Can't Tell You." Mofumofu writes a beautiful story about two young men battling with their emotions. Kyousuke loves Kasumi but is too afraid to admit it due to an upbringing that made him think being gay was bad or corrupt. Kasumi tries to fill the void of not having Kyousuke by seeing a woman who is married. The tender moments and storytelling were so LUSH and RAW it was incredible! A lot of older adult manga (the stuff that has sex scenes) always seems to base it around the carnal relations, but this was a gorgeous story that also just happened to have a few very sexy and steamy scenes! 

I'd recommend this to any adult lgbtq manga fan. It deals with so much while telling an interesting and sweet story. I wish our library had an adult manga section that I can buy this for but I'll just have to grab a copy for my personal collection for now!

Lo leí a finales de abril y ya ni siquiera recuerdo de qué iba, como para que se den cuenta del impacto que tuvo.
Sí, tenemos a nuestros dos protagonistas, que se conocen desde que son pequeños, y ahora, en la actualidad, empiezan a darse cuenta de que quizás se gusten más de lo que creían. Pero es un tira y afloja que nunca se concreta, porque cada uno tiene cosas que resolver hasta permitirse estar en una relación.
Y... nada, les soy sincero: es un festival dramático. Con un ritmo bastante raro, y personajes que de un segundo a otro actúan raro, momentos que no tienen sentido, emociones que surgen de la nada.
No me transmitió nada y siento que leí algo que no estuvo tan bien pensado.

I received this through Netgalley! It was honestly such a cute manga though I wish there was more to their story. I would have loved to have seen them grow as a couple. The slow burn was really good despite it being over the course of one novel.

This manga was so adorable! It was the story of two best friends who fell in love with each other and didn't want the other to know. It showed how love can make someone stronger or a coward when it comes to facing it. Recommend this manga to everyone!!

I really enjoyed this manga. I was looking for a manga to read on NetGalley and I was immediately attracted to this one. The cover is just so pretty. I like how the story was about internalised homophobia as it changes from the usual. The characters were quite loveable and very well drawn. I loved the graphism. This kind of love story is really my favourite as they loved each other from a long time ago and finally met again when they were more ready to act. It was really nice to see how they evolved and how their opinion of homosexual romance evolved too. 
The story could have been even better if we had seen more about Kasumi’s problem and life and not just about Kyousuke. A little more depth would have been appreciated.
