They All Fall Down A Thriller
Reviews

Sadly, I did not enjoy this book. Everyone was despicable. No one had any redeeming traits. I wanted to root for someone! Especially the person's head we were stuck inside the whole time. Miriam was whiney, made excuses for her bad behavior, and snooty (while judging everyone else for being snooty). We are stuck with incoherent, sad, and paranoid thoughts the whole time we are listening to her. I believe the paranoia and constant complaining was supposed to set the atmosphere (?). She constantly talked and thought about the heat, bugs, smells, and things being moved. Maybe, that would have worked if the author used third person or put us in the mind of someone more appealing than Miriam. I don't mind figuring out who the killer is. I'm not one to tear a book down for the predictability or leaving clues that makes sense enough for me to figure them about. But be clever about it! Also, I don't normally figure stuff out, so if I did that means something! Plus, the second twist wasn't exciting either. I was just ready for everyone to die and to get off the island! The only thing I got from this book was the constant need to sing the gospel song We Fall Down by Donnie McClurkin every time I looked at the cover!
