Ahhh Nik and Ben seeing them being an undercover couple while also sorting out their own relationship was highly enjoyable. One thing I love about this series it hits all the beats it's got action, drama, some amazing dry wit, heartfelt moments, extremely intense scenes, and so many emotional moments. I feel like I've a thousand lifetimes with them throughout this series and it's not nearly enough. This book has one of my least favourite tropes but it also leads to getting to experience Nik and Ben falling in love again, and solidifying their relationship even further so no complaints here! They proved no matter how complicated and confusing their relationship may be to everyone else it makes complete sense to them and without it they are half of a whole. 

There was really unexpected gut punch moments that got me in this one and really took me out on an emotional level. Can't say enough about this series because of my love for these messy and flawed characters that have endeared themselves to me so much. Funny how I picked these books up around winter because most of the setting fits the colder vibes, and lends it's self to the overall experience. I also love the Christmas moment at the end so rare to take a breath and have such a heartfelt moment but it was very much apricated!
