i was in absolute fear the whole way through this book it was. It was a trip, to say the least. It's good (honestly im thinking through this insanity and it had a lot that probably could've been better but also like based on my first reaction im giving this 5 stars)

Listen, it's so ambitious and I feel like I should love it because there are so many new things going on with the characters and I love a gray hero (maybe?) and a dozen good twists, but idk. Something felt off or rushed or disingenuous. And don't even get me started on the ending.

3.75⭐️ Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I’m going to need to think about this some more but given my track record with conclusions in the past 2 years I’d say suvada nailed it in that I DOBT WABT to skin myself alive

I don't have much to say but holy shit

I LOVE this series. The world building is amazing. Even though it's pretty science-heavy, I think I pretty much understood what was going on. I loved the way the duel chapters worked in this one. But... only 4 stars because (view spoiler)[ I WANTED MORE CAT AND COLE!! I know this isn't a romance book but we didn't even really get to see them come back together. I wanted more of their relationship. But this book is still amazing without this... I'm just a sap and felt like it was missing a little... something. (hide spoiler)] Read this series. Please. I'm so sad it's over!!

Review: Overall I thought this was a good book but I don't feel connected to the book at the moment. I think it's one of those best suited read back to back with the rest of the series so I'll try again in the future. Verdict: Not for me at the moment.

While I enjoyed this trilogy overall I felt book 3 had a few pacing issues and felt a little overly complicated at times. The ending underwhelmed me slightly but I did still enjoy Cat, her character remained my favourite throughout.
