Stumbled upon this in a bookstore in Montréal and bought it on a whim. Was absolutely not ready for how stunning and shattering this would be. The complications of sex and identity and bodied-ness were beautifully rendered, in a mixture of modern and ancient and indigenous imagery. Going to carry this one close.
