Thomas, a young gay Romanian, abandons everything he has built in his life in a desperate attempt to find freedom and love. Under the prospect of a better future and the increasing hope of happiness, he moves to London. However, Thom realizes that everything he'd hoped for is a fantasy. In his pursuit, he pushes himself further away from those around him, his sexuality remaining his biggest secret.
