A different feel from the madcap drive through Bittora or the hilarious journey with Zoya but the sensible but uncertain Debjani & a forthcoming yet denying Dylan were nevertheless fun to follow, especially as they came accompanied with all sorts of interesting family members. And of course the author still has that charm to her writing that never fails to amuse. The tense in which the story was presented sometimes threw me off, but the experiment was an interesting try anyway.

oh boy. This book is the book okay? The way simple chaos of desi families is portrayed * chef kiss* , bonus point if the mmc is as hot as dyl is . I liked this book i really do but um it has a miscommunication trope (definitely lost a star there) but if we ignore that which we can . The book is pretty good yall . Coming to the characters 

Anjini makes me thankful for not having any siblings cause she's Terrible okay? 
Bindodini is um petty ig that will do it 
Chandralekha we haven't met yet properly BUT THE PLOT TWIST around her was sjjsjsjs .

Looveeee herr smmm , she's famous like really famous and she didn't even once made me realize that despite being so insecure ( thanks to anjini ) and we stan a humble queen 

Can we talk about the ' DD NEWS ' she delivered at the end? Normally it's a guy who gives goaalss vibes but this girl is topping all of them. Wow. 

Don't get me wrong tho Dylan is amazing I LOVE HIM just haven't set up goals like bebjani did 😩😂 which okay i mean.

This is a story about L.N.Thakur, his wife Mamta Thakur, and their five daughters, who are named alphabetically from A to E. (Sounds funny, right?😂). Each daughter is dealing with something or the other in her own life, but we are left with only a brief account of all of them except one.

The lead character is the fourth daughter D, Debjani, who is making her career as a news reader in DD, meets Dylan Singh Shekhawat, through her father's friend and falls reluctantly in love. They had their moments of love and hate throughout the story and we are made to wonder if they will ever be together?

Being an 80's child, I really enjoyed visiting those memories, when families would play together, sleep on the terraces during summer nights and all-those pre-internet era things.

To be honest, I found this book a bit overrated but enjoyed many of those laugh-out-loud funny incidents. I feel the story misses out on its overall-depth but it's one of those light and fun to read books, if you are looking for an easy read.
