Theo Wallin doesn’t believe in rose-colored glasses. He’ll never win the Cup, and he’s made his peace with that. His team is afraid of him, and he’s stopped trying to change their minds. He’ll never find love, because he’s prickly, unfriendly, and likes things done his way. He’s okay with that. What he’s not okay with is losing his position as the starting goalie for the Saskatoon Sentinels to an upstart rookie, especially one with effortless charm and a heart-stopping smile. Theo wants to retire on his terms, and Niklas Stromberg is making that very difficult.
