When Kade is shot and then Kathleen finds out that she is pregnant, things become much clearer to her, but their troubles are not over because those who have been plotting against them are still out there, waiting for the chance to make their lives miserable. Thinking that their troubles will end if he leaves, Kade decides to leave Kathleen and Blane behind forever, but Kade isn't the only one with enemies.

Just like the other books in this series, Point of No Return is filled with overly dramatic and unrealistic situations, but somehow it still works by tugging at the heart and being consistently engaging. One thing that has set these stories apart is that both Kade and Blane are likable heroes, making it easy to see why Kathleen has so much difficulty choosing between the two of them. Since this is the final book in the series, all of the loose ends are tied up and each character's story is completed. Overall, this suspenseful series is well worth the read.
