This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Souls Unfractured is a book I have been really excited for ever since we are introduced to Maddie and Flame in book one. I have really come to admire this series quite a bit and Tillie Cole has done wonders with these books although I will warn you there are some triggers in these books because this author does deal with some tough situations that won’t be for everyone, but I love how realistic these books feel and really give a voice to those whom many don’t know about.  “What are words? Sometimes the flick of a pair of eyes or the flush of skin reveals everything you need to know. Words can wound. Silence can heal.”  Soul’s Unfractured is the third book in the Hades Hangmen series and is packed with so much emotion. In begins with seeing their first meeting and then skips to the present. Flame has recently recovered from a bullet wound, and is back to protecting Maddie outside her cabin. Both Flame and Maddie crave each other and want what their friends have with each other, however there is one problem they both have a hard time with touch. Maddie was raised in a religious cult where she was abused, demeaned and raped most of her life. Flame wasn’t treated any better. (we aren’t sure the details of his condition but I am guessing it was close to being Autistic) I know I'm different. I know I don't see the world like everyone else does. But I want to see your world, Maddie. Even if it's the only one I'll ever understand His father believed him to be mad and possessed and Flame was tortured and raped by his own father and lived in a cellar when he was only seven years old. He was eventually rescued by the Hades Hangmen MC and he became one of them. He and Maddie really want each other but there is also something that is keeping them from being together, their own fears of their past. But there is a strong connection between them and as Maddie is the only one that can calm down the beast that rages inside of Flame, Flame is the only one that makes Maddie feel alive after all the years of abuse...Flame and Maddie are able to help heal each other’s wounds and find a beautiful love together…. Flame, you saved me from him. From that life… from never knowing what it was like to hold hands. To kiss and to make such sweet love that it still feels like a dream. You have no idea how special you are to me.” Maddie held up our joined hands and said, “Even now, looking at these hands, I am terrified this is all in my head, that being here with you, is just another fantasy that will never be realized. That I am sitting at my window, sketching a future I pray will happen, before I blink and discover it is all in my head, that I must be content to simply watch you from afar I adores Soul’s Unfractured and I think Its a tie with book one, although better than book one. I adored Flame and Maddie’s book although this is a beautiful story and displays so much strong emotion that I just fell in love with it. This book really tore my heart out though just because of how emotional their romance gets here. My heart broke for these two but I adored seeing their bond grow and the way that these two work past their fears and overcome that keeps them from having a relationship together. Tillie Cole did a wonderful job with this story and boy I became so emotionally invested in this book and wanted them to find some closure and really find what they need to heal and build a good life together. We see their ups and their down and seeing how strong these two are and how courageous they are to overcome their traumatic pasts and take a leap of faith in each other. Seeing their journey isn't easy for the reader, there are some really tough topics that we see our characters struggle through, but they do get through it....and they do it together. What really impacted me in this book was the teamwork that these two put in. Because it takes them both learning the value of trust and honesty that really brings them the closure that they need. I used to wonder how two people—one broken girl, and one broken boy—could ever move on from their dark and tortured pasts. But now I know. Together, that’s how. They fight their way through… together. They have a beautiful connection that speaks to the soul and you can feel it from the beginning but seeing them grow in their relationship and seeing them take that important step in wanting more than just looks between each other, this is the monumental turn for the both of them and we see so much emotional growth that forms and seeing this journey that these both go on is breathtaking and so heartfelt in so many different ways. A MAGNIFICENT LOVE TALE!

Rating: 3 Stars - Liked It Thoughts: I could not wait for Flames story and was not expecting to have my heart broken on so many levels and be grossed out. Everything I wanted to know about Flame with his cutting, no touching and counting I got and so much more. But most of it I wish I did not fully know . I was actually grossed out by how he lives and what he does on the floor in front of the hatch. Flash backs were a huge factor in his story and let me tell you I usually do not get bother about stuff but his made me cry and were hard to get through. I adored, loved and admire Maddie. Through out the series I would of never thought her to be the strongest heroine. What she does in certain scenes for Flame just amazed me. That takes a strong woman to do what she would do for him. Her flashbacks were also hard to get through.

These stories continue to shock the living hell out of me but I can’t seem to stop reading them. Maddie and Flames story have been the darkest one so far and I’ve heard that they get even harder the farther we go into the series. There is so much pain, hurt and trauma that they both went through individually all at the hands of people who claimed to know God. I’m glad with the way their story unfolded, I don’t see how it could have come together any other way. I was annoyed with the flashes of what was happening at the new commune with Cane and that whole aspect was predictable I honestly might just skip his book because he is not forgiving by me yet. Overall this is as a good read.

Read in one day, and wow. There were moments I thought 'ok this is it, this got too weird for me', but the journey of the main characters being the main focus, and how while it was dark, it didn't feel toxic... It was actually very heartwarming.

THIS BOOK??? THE HARDEST BOOK IVE EVER READ. Bc BOTH of the protagonist go through so much abuse that it’s hard to comprehend even in fiction. Having said that I loved it a lot. The character development is amazing and the lil clips of Cain’s life and beliefs kept me going too.

Who else is excited as I am about Flame and Maddie getting their story? 'Cause I am. And I cannot wait to tell you about how fantastic is Flame and Maddie story. Tillie Cole is master genius because she outdone herself with Flame and Maddie story. Souls Unfractured begins where the last one ended. Flame coming back home but freaking out when he cannot find Maddie in the compound. Maddie has been seeking peace outside of the compound that she found it in the a church but she is really missing Flame since he had to be in the hospital for awhile. Flame and Maddie will get closer in Souls Unfractured since Flame is willing to fight his battle afterall. It is very dark in Flame past. You will get to know a lot of things about Flame that you just want to hug him. There will a big surprise toward the end that you will be shock but excited too. It is a good thing that I am definitely happy for Flame. Souls Unfractured is beautiful dark romance story because Maddie and Flame are finally getting together and forgot about their past all together. Five Stars!

Ingles The third book in this series tells the story of Flame whom we already know as part of the psycho trio and Maddie Mae's younger sister. After quite considering it, I concluded that this is my favorite book in the series at the moment, because it has a protagonist as broken but brave as Maddie and a male protagonist as strong but at the same time vulnerable. In the year that this book came out, honestly there were not many books where the male protagonist had such a dark past and was abused like Flame, in fact it was the opposite, someone crazy and sick yes but who never suffered abuse like Flame, always It was the female protagonist who had that past, so this book became one of my favorites and made Tillie one of my favorite authors for that very reason. I honestly love how the characters in this book are handled, it made me angry to see how Flame grew and how, due to ignorance and religion, hir life was ruined to the point of ending as traumatized as he is. As it was said in previous books, Maddie suffered worse than her sisters, which was demonstrated and we knew the answers of why she is so afraid of men, what they did to her in the commune was really horrible, so, seeing how the relationship between them grew was very moving. Again, I love how the story of each book is related and how the plot develops more and more, especially I loved Viking and AK, they are the best friends anyone can have, the way they protect and care for Flame without judging him is incredible. This is an intense, sad and very emotional book, therefore, I don’t recommend it to everyone since it has very strong themes of abuse, but if that does not bother you then read it you will not regret it. @dkstaphy

Wowowowowowowow “The flames you believe run in your veins, did not engulf me. Instead, you gave me life. You gave me back my light.” Another tear fell down her cheek, and she whispered, “You, Flame. My Flame. My tortured boy. You gave me life and light.” Maddie. The young and reserved one. The observer. The one who had been broken to the point where she hid herself away from view from everyone. There was only one person that chipped away at that fear, and that was the person who destroyed the one thing that she feared most of all. Flame. The ruthless killer. The need to spill blood to keep the flames at bay. Inside, he’s on fire and emotionally and mentally fighting his feelings every moment of every day. He found someone that gave him a semblance of love and peace; even if it was just for a moment... it was all he ever wanted. “Souls Unfractured,” is book three in the Hades Hangmen Series by Tillie Cole. It is about Flame and Maddie. Two broken people. One that can’t touch, and the other afraid to feel. They were brought together in a moment of chance, and they became each others salvation. Just seeing the emotionally charged moments between the two of them from the get go was riveting. They were so in tune with one another from the moment they met, and through their unlikely bond, it brought out the best pieces of them. It gave Flame the ability to overcome, and Maddie the reason to see her self worth. This was so tragically beautiful that I just couldn’t put it down. Trigger warning advised

Originally posted at Booklovers For Life Finally!!! We finally get Flame and Maddie’s book!!! Souls Unfractured was seriously THE book I had been waiting for all summer. After loving Ky’s book SO HARD, and getting those glimpses of Maddie and Flame together… I just NEEDED them to get their story and HEA. Tillie Cole built up their story so perfectly that I had such high expectations for Souls Unfractured. Maybe too high… but I’ll talk about that later. If you’re a fan of the Hades Hangmen series, you don’t want to miss Flame and Maddie’s story – it’s a brilliant, intense, insane book that I couldn’t put down. “From the moment I was able to touch him, and he touched me, I was claimed. I have been his this whole time.” If you haven’t read the other books in the series, I encourage you to do so before picking up Souls Unfractured. For one thing, you get to experience the build-up to Maddie and Flame’s book so much better, and there’s an over-arcing storyline that the series follows that has to do with the Hades Hangmen and the religious cult that Maddie, Mae, and Lilah came from. Ever since Maddie left the Commune, she’s always had her dark knight, her Flame, to protect her. Of the three girls, Maddie experienced the worst abuse at the hands of the sick cult the were from. My heart broke over and over for Maddie and all that she went through – her flashbacks were truly gruesome to recount. But the one thing that keeps Maddie going, that keeps her living, is Flame, who is even more tortured than she is. “You, Flame. My Flame. My tortured boy. You game me life and light.” Flame is crazy, crazy scary, and a man no one wants to mess with, not even his club brothers. He’s twisted, violent, and loves to kill, but more than that, he’ll die to protect Maddie, the light in his darkness. His past was even more awful to read, let along experience. Flame and Maddie went through such awful pain and torture in their pasts that I couldn’t even imagine how they’d overcome them. But they do. Oh, how they do. Tillie Cole writes such a beautiful, haunting love story between two broken souls who manage to heal each other in ways they never dreamed of. Theirs is a love that is raw and passionate that I couldn’t put this book down. I absolutely needed to know how these two would get their much deserved HEA. “We are Flame and Maddie. And we have survived.” I pressed a kiss to his fingers and I emphasized, “We have found each other, and we are never letting each other go.” One word to describe this book: intense. The characters are intense, the storyline is intense, every single freaking scene is intense. Flame and Maddie’s book was honestly the most nail-biting, gripping, painful book to read of all three books out so far. If you thought the Ky or Styx’s books were intense, you haven’t seen anything until you get to Flame’s. Remember the thing I said earlier about having too high expectations? Well, I never thought I’d say this for Souls Unfractured, but I really did have too high expectations for it. For some reason, there was something missing for me in this book. I didn’t love it as much as I loved Ky’s book, even though I expected to love Flame’s the most. I’m totally blaming myself for not loving this book as much as I expected to – I just wasn’t in the right mood to experience such painful and tortured pasts from both Maddie and Flame. “You are my miracle, Flame Cade. You truly are my soul’s other half.” Still, I really did enjoy this book. I’m so thankful that Flame and Maddie get their story told – if anyone deserves a HEA, it’s these two. I loved getting to see the rest of the Hades Hangmen gang again. I absolutely adore AK and Viking now, who I’m wishing will get their own books! Also running parallel to the Hades Hangmen story is Cain/Rider’s, who I’m actually really excited to read more about. His story ends on a cliffie, so now I’m eagerly awaiting his book, Deep Redemption. The Hades Hangmen series is one of the best MC series I’ve ever read. Tillie’s fantastic writing pulls you so deep into the story and the haunting tales of each of the characters in the series. These books are NOT easy reads, but if you’re in the mood for something dark, gritty, and twisted, the Hades Hangmen series is perfect for you. Quotes are taken from the ARC and are subject to change in the final version. Thanks to the author for generously providing me an ARC to review. This book... THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING TO ME! 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈'𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝. SF consumed me. I thought I knew what this word meant, I thought previous books had consumed me, until this one. It took possession of me. I lived, breathed, dreamed Souls Unfractured. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬. When I say it's my favorite love story, I mean it. Maddie and Flame are the epitome of couple goals. Their strengths, their weaknesses, their nightmares, their hopes, their dreams... They were there for each other; they were each other's salvation. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦, 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞. 𝐔𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐲 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. I loved how the author approached Flame's character and his "condition". The fact that the MC didn't question his behavior and simply received him with open arms... I wish this world had more people like that. I wish this world was filled with more Maddie's and her acceptance of Flame right from the beginning. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮... I loved how Maddie, sweet and innocent Maddie, was the one to calm the flames and bring peace to her Flame. Every time Flame uttered, "My Maddie," my heart-strings would begin their pulling and I would start sobbing. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐌𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞... 𝐌𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞... There are no words that will ever justify the magnificence of this novel. Tillie Cole wrote a story that will forever live in my heart, a story I will breathe for eternity.
