Tim Dlugos, recognized as one of the finest post-New York School poets to be published in the 1970s and 1980s, died of AIDS as he was writing his strongest work - poems about the disease itself. Powerless, which includes those final poems, also goes back to Dlugos' earlier books to create a stunning retrospective.
