The Daughters of Maine (Witches of BlackBrook Book 2) by Tish Thawer is the second book in the Witches of BlackBrook. This is a 5 star read. It is full of time travel, witches and fantasy and is full of suspense, action and a touch of romance. 
In the present day the three sisters have reunited, Trin, Caris and Kennedy and of course Jason. Trin starts having nightmares she can't remember. Is their enemy back hunting her? They agree to cast a spell to figure it out but before that can happen, they travel across centuries trying to stop the evil that is hunting them. They have all changed and their roles within the family has changed but the bond they have is still as strong. 
This is the first book by Tish Thawer I have read and I know it won't be the last. I can't wait for the third book to come out so I can find out what happens with these characters. This author has created a story that will suck you into the story from the first page. It is a fast page turner that will leave you wanting more and needing to find out what will happen at the end. You will lose track of time reading this story and want to finish it in one sitting. The twists and turns keep the story going and keep it interesting. I really recommend this story and you will enjoy it as much as I did, I will be going back and reading the first one right away.
