TJ Klune should really reconsider traveling back in time to create more Bennet brothers, because there’s no way this series has only four books. It’s simply too short and I need more. I can’t believe it’s the end. I will miss this family so much. Almost two thousand pages of them is not enough. 

The book about Carter and his mysterious timber wolf, who turned out to be Gavin was the one I was waiting to read about the most. Im so happy I end up loving it and can probably say that this couple was my favorite one in the series. Okay, maybe after Gordo and Mark, but still almost in the first place. I love couples with great banter, so I knew I would love Gavin and Carter. 


  
    “You’re too loud,” he retorted. 
“I kill, I kill them all. But then you came out and said grr.” 
“I did not say grr, you asshole.” 
“Grr,” he repeated, like he was mocking me. “All loud and stupid with your stupid heart.” 
“Thump, thump, thump.” 
He nodded. “Should have killed you.”
  


Carter, my playful, funny, laid-back mayor of Green Creek, but definitely more mature in this book, which made me a little sad because I can't believe he was already over thirty. He was a teenager in the first book. It made me think "Damn, they grow up so fast." And his mate Gavin. Gavin Livingstone grumpy, stubborn, but at the same time freaking cute timber wolf who loved pink. I loved his character as much as his brother, Gordo. I'm so mad that Gavin didn't show up until the third book because I wanted more of him.


  
    "Gavin was weirdly shy when he shoved a package in my lap. He glowered at me when I thanked him. “Open it first,” he muttered. “Stupid Carter.”
  


Why was he so adorable and cute? The fact that this book has a lot of romance made literally hug my kindle. Mark and Gordo’s book focused, in my opinion at least, not enough on the romance. Which made me pretty sad as I love this couple, so I was relieved this book has a lot of more on this part. Carter and Gavin mostly made me laugh, smile, and even almost cry. The beginning where Carter was searching for Gavin was pretty depressing, but after he found him the book become definitely more fun and interesting.

I will miss them. *crying*

The characters/ Bennet pack. I love them. I love them. I love them. Where can I find this type of family? Everyone had their happy ending and I had tears in my eyes because of it. They deserve it so much. Gavin and his relationship with Elizabeth and Gordo was one of the best things about the book. Gordo and Gavin were almost the same person. Both grumpy, but they had a soft spot for their loved ones, and especially for the person they were with.


  
    "He said, “Fine. It’s fine. I’ll stay with Gordo.” 
“You’re just going to sit there and scowl at each other.” “We are not,” Gordo snapped. Both of them were scowling."
  


The end was literally perfect. I was wondering how the author would wrap up this series with everything that happened in the last book, but it couldn't have ended better. I mean, the ending might have been better if it didn't exist at all, and it wouldn't be the last book, but what can I do.

I will miss this series so much!

I skimmed through the last half of this book because I was getting so bored with the whole premise of the series. Again, there’s great moments between the characters, and the fight scenes were exciting. But, all of my complaints from the first three books still stand. On top of those complaints, I realized a quarter of the way through this book that all four books follow the same formula: character leaves/goes missing, angst, character gets found, angst, love, big fight scene, wrap-up. And yeah, the ouroboros theme, I get it, I do. Didn’t do it for me. I expected more from this series from how much others loved it, and it fell pretty flat for me.

No se como sentirme, estoy muy feliz de haber decidido leer esta saga tan maravillosa y estoy triste porque ya lo terminé y fue una experiencia tremenda, ojalá pudiera borrarme la memoria y volverla a leer toda otra vez. Me encantaron los 4 libros, conecté y me encariñe con todos los personajes (hasta los secundarios) y el vínculo que tienen entre ellos me parece precioso, fue algo muy lindo de leer, como una caricia al corazón 🤧 para mi la saga completa es un 100000/10

What a superb ending to such a highly emotional series about the humanity, flawed and otherwise, of werewolves and witches.

I loved how the story circled back to the beginning and we got to know more about Thomas. And now, I think Gavin is possibly my 2nd favourite behind Ox.

But like all the others, I just wish that I was more capable of putting my thoughts into words because for me this one got me in a very similar way to Wolfsong and all the callbacks, as well as Carter and Gavins story was overwhelming to me.
