Lawless is the third book in the King series, and T.M. gives of more of what we have been asking for Bears story. The dual point of view is something I enjoyed. The book starts off 7 years prior to the day Bear meets Thia and he gives her a ring with a promise to help her if she ever need him. Little does he know that promise will come back to bite him in the ass because the little girl he met is now a young woman in need of help. We see what Bear has been up to since we last saw him in Tyrant, he's lost without a purpose now that he is out of the club. It's really heartbreaking seeing what he is going though. Then there is Thia she has lost everything and is running from the horrific things she has seen and committed because her mother lost her mind. The only person she can thinks of when she needs help is that biker she meet when she was 10, who promised to help no matter what. The events that lead to Bears return home are traumatic for Thia, who now knows the truth about what Bear promised 7 years ago. We start to see their relationship develop from an inconvenience to a real relationship were Bear finally has something he cares about more than himself. I could not put this down, although some of the plot twist were a little predictable, but the ending had me questioning my detective skill, I did not see that coming. I look forward to seeing how this story ends in Soulless.

I was In Love with Preppy! I really was, but then when it comes to Bear the most annoying, irritating, rude man nothing can compare how hot and bothered he made me every time I read this! And Thia? Really Girl? 5 Stars!
