Based on the very frustratingly abrupt ending of book three, I am assuming that this series still has further volumes to come. And the wolf that this one was titled for doesn't show up until near the end of the book. 

This book, much like the second one, starts with a bang just as the previous one ended. There was action, adventure, misfit, and mayhem. Esmore went through some horrific experiences but came out smiling or perhaps I should say snarling in the end. 

I did wonder why the same old trope of using sexual violence had to be used against our MC on this occasion. 

And I also had to wonder why the sole dark-skinned person that I have knowingly come across in the entire three volumes of this story so far just so happens to be an 'exotic' 🙄 who is the 'mother of savages,' (GOT rip off if I ever heard one... and I've not even read/watched that series) 🙄🙄, speaks in 'tongue' and is stark naked 🙄🙄🙄 throughout the narrative from the time we meet her? TBH this horrified me.

By the end of book three, the action aside, I think I was just glad it was over. Being a series binge reader had I known that the story ended in such a way I wouldn't have agreed to read and review these books because I hate having to wait for the next volume to be released. But that is my problem and nothing to do with the story. I do however thank the author for the opportunity to read these works and applaud her for the world she built in them.
