I enjoyed this one as well! I am excited to continue with the story! I love the creatures the Grace encounter, and I enjoy learning about them!

I like it! The book was actually a lot darker than the movie which surprised me. I thought it was going to be all whimsical but there were parts that were kinda creepy (and brutal) as well. It's also quite different from the movie. In the movie, the griffin comes out at the end when Jared called upon him to find Arthur Spiderwick. But in the book, you meet the griffin in the forest where Simon was first captured.

This is so engaging. I absolutely adore these characters. Also, the pace is anything but slow and the action part is not at all lacking.
