I read a bunch of these books back in the 80s. This one holds up pretty well, though when you see these older books through a modern lens, it's pretty obvious how things have changed, and that some stuff wouldn't work now. There are lots more security cameras, and, of course, cell phones.

But it's still enjoyable.

Reading it to join in with the mystery book club.

A pretty good thriller with some really interesting perspective on Navajo culture and traditions. Nice, quick read.
