Doctor Who: The Forgotten by Tony Lee started as a six issue comic. I read it as a bound graphic novel volume.

Martha and the Doctor arrive in a museum dedicated to the Doctor and his exploits. Someone though is calling the shots. The price is the Doctor's memories. By reliving previous adventures, one from each regeneration he finds he can regain his memories.

The Forgotten was a fun romp through the previous Doctors, though not as imaginative as the webcomic, The Ten Doctors. The end, though, has a nice resolution though that predates Gaiman's writing for the television series.

The artwork is good. The Doctor in all his different forms is recognizable. The oldest ones are drawn in black and white.

The Doctor and his companions, on their way to a game at Wembley Stadium, end up in Wembley a thousand years earlier, where the Doctor and Rory must face Vikings in order to save Amy and preserve Britain's future. Then, they visit a vacation planet that becomes the center of a space battle when a damaged Sontaran ship lands to make repairs.

With Matt Smith taking over as the Eleventh Doctor, there is a new series of comics. The first of which is Doctor Who: The Ripper by Tony Lee.

Although The Ripper will mostly be about the Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory going against Jack the Ripper, the first issue (and the only one included in the NetGalley preview) is an introductory adventure involving a planet inhabited by holograms. Put that together with the TARDIS and email spam and imagine the consequences.

The artwork is good. The characters look like the actors in the series. It took a page for me to recognize Rory but I was more taken aback by all the other weirdness going on inside the TARDIS.
